One Before Bed
I jinxed myself.
Aubree isn't on a fabulous schedule anymore.
Also, she's been quite whiny lately. I swear I think it's because I play with her (a lot). She gets bored really easy and whines around all the time.
Just being honest-- it's driving me a little batty!
Maybe I should start playing with her less. Ha. See how crazy this whole motherhood thing can be?
Lots of cool stuff coming up:
May 10th- Mother's Day
June 21st- Father's Day AND Derek's Birthday!
Should have some company this summer

Silver Linings
I am thankful for:
Afrin.
Having Aubree on an awesome schedule.
My Mom being in jail. I know that sounds crazy. Some of you may not have even known she was in jail (drugs) but I have a strong suspicion where she'd be today if she wasn't and having her alive in jail beats the alternative anyday.
My Mom getting out of jail in July/August. Hopefully she's learned her lesson and can meet Aubree.
Aubree's hair growing. The child's looking more like a girl everyday :)
Sunshine. Good for my mood/outlook/skin.
Having 2 cordless phones. 1's always dying.
The slight possibility that my friend Lori may come see me soon.

1- Number of times I've had a babysitter. We left her with my Dad once (while she was asleep) to go look for a Christmas tree. We were gone a little over an hour.
2- The number of new releases I've watched this week. Bedtime Stories & Yes Man. It's also 2:00am currently.
3- The size of Aubree's bathing suit. Yeah, I know.

July plans
I'm becoming a vegetarian in July. Only for July. The entire month of July.
No meat- at all!
I picked July because fruits & veggies were in peak season and it's hot, so who really wants meat then anyway. Right?
I thought I could propose the idea to others. It might save a few animals along the way. Maybe lower cholesterol a little bit.... Probably a few other health benefits.
It says in the bible we should eat meat sparingly. We should eat life (things that grow) and not death. That's what I plan to do-- for July anyway.

6) the last place i ate out: Taco Bell (forever ago! I’m trying not to eat out much anymore)

9) something i looked forward to this month: Easter? (not really, though, church will be PACKED!)

Enjoying-
1.) Great value honey wheat pretzels - YUM!
2.) Playing with Dixon. I watched Marley & Me. It was SO sad! Made me realize how much I really love Dixon even though I want to strangle him when he wakes up Clare.
3.) Getting ahead on my homework. I am more than 1 full week ahead. Go me!
Thinking about-
1.) How I wish the cleaning fairy would come visit me tonight so I won't be in a bad mood when I wake-up in the morning and look at my kitchen.
2.) Aubree needs some bigger sized jeans but I don't want to buy them because I think it's going to be hot really soon.
3.) My Dad coming to see me in June! I get so excited when family & friends come to town. I miss having friends :(

Appreciating-
1.) How easy Aubree gave up her bottle. She's never had a passy, so... Potty training here we come (in about 6 months!)
2.) Derek getting off work early tonight.
3.) Fresh fruit!
Thinking about-
1.) The possibility of moving to California!
2.) Watching Marley & Me with Aubree in the morning since she loves movies with dogs.
3.) What to do this weekend. Pet-a-palooza or Freemont St. concert.... or nothing!
Enjoying-
1.) Having my vacuum cleaner back.
2.) Walks with my kids! We took 2 today. It's so pretty outside (85)
3.) My backyard: the radio, the fence, the veggies I'm growing!
